Hi Guys
My 2007 4.8 has started to make a noise which seems very similar to a clutch fan on its way out but I have been doing some research and I’m not sure if my model has one? Noise is that of a loud fan with revs and fine on idle apart from a small bit of chatter noise like a pulley bearing or ...

Very helpful thanks for the reply

Re: rear entertainment remote control
Hmm that’s what I thought but no joy. I must have duff or wrong remote then, are there different part numbers for the remotes? It’s certainly the old type I have which is fairly box like with the rocker switch to flick headphone speaker volume left and right.

rear entertainment remote control
Hi guys,
I have had to replace a missing remote control for the rear entertainment system on my x5 - sorry for a stupid question but will this need to be paired / sync by a dealer or is there anything that can be done to get it to work?
Cheers

Fingers crossed my transfer box is not made out of chocolate then :) but its certainly drive train related this noise ...
