No power to driver seat

Post by locomoro81 » Thu Jul 16, 2015 12:12 pm

Hi all

I recently fitted interior and seats from an x5m, which consisted of:

two front power seats (driver side is memory seat)
rear seats + shoulder bolsters
Door cards
And centre console

As easy as it was the centre console was the fiddliest.

The problem is the driver seat is fully connected (yellow scart like connections the seat belt tensioner for both seat belts and holders) but seat still does not work.

The passenger side works perfectly.

Any suggestions thanks

Did you test the seats before purchase maybe the drivers maybe faulty,I would suggest swap seats over to test if faulty first.

Don't turn ignition on with any of the seats not plugged in or you will get an Airbag Warning Light on the dash. :)
