2007 E70 AGM Battery Replacement

Post by BBates » Fri Feb 12, 2016 11:30 pm

Hi Guys,

I've recently had my AGM battery replaced by a local reputable battery company with equipment to undertake the job, however after replacement the car doesn't recognise that it has a reverse camera and the aircon which is fully charged doesn't work, has anyone else had this problem

Did you get the battery registered to the car? Irrespective of that, I struggle to see how a new battery would cause those faults?

Try taking the battery off again, wait 30 mins and reconnect it.

Sometimes the computer gets in a tizz and this is the standard reset.  If that doesn't fix it then they need to have it back!

I had a battery changed in our E46 by a good Indy but they managed to blow fuses and upset the electronics badly.  No idea how or what the did, but it took them a week to put it right.
:ant: Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.
