Count down for service seems stuck!

I think it is just dependant upon how you use the brakes. Have you measured the remaining pad thickness at all? It’ll probably give you a better idea.

So I serviced my sprinter van yesterday and thought I better reset the service indicator which pops up on the dash, this time I used the steering wheels buttons to reset rather than digging out the diagnostics machine......well I nearly fell over!....msg popped up in the binnacle..."Next service 28,500 miles" (no msg pops up when using diags) ...now that is just beyond belief, all this high mileage servicing must be a government conspiracy to kill our diesel & petrol engines off so we scrap them and buy electric
