To complete the set.......Late Dusk (using the same iPhone 4 camera)
DRL Only Mode
Sidelight Only Mode - the lights are dimmed a little by the LCM Unit
Automatic Dipped Headlight Mode (OEM HID). I don't think the iPhone likes HIDs straight on!!

Is it not part 8 in this
diagram or don't you have OEM HIDs? It's just an H8/35W.
I know the non-HIDs have a BMW special bulb by the looks of it.

Non oem xenons here. Understand build in OEM is different and hence retro bright LED a PITA

Installed today. Colour is so much better than the very old yellow - quite surprised that BM still put them out like this, even in the LCI.
Anyway, they do appear a bit dimmer than the yellow ones. Couldn't get photos as it was sunny when I opened the bonnet and hailing 1 minute after I closed it!
(Cheers to those for all the helpful advice/photos etc on the thread)
