The dealer also said my car needs a decoke
They are doing it all and all covered under warranty (AUC) which is good - what is a decoke though -- related to glow plug change ?

Can be done with special fluids to clean the crud out if the EGR, air inlet, and cylinders. It's usually a mix of unburnt fuel and soot from the emissions systems.

I was reading an article about a company that has several mobile engineers that can come to your home or work and decoke your car in 30 mins.
They use hydrogen in some form, it cleans the engine intake system all the way through to the exhaust aparantly.
Worth reading up a bit on it first.
The X3's with the 2.0d lump are prone to coking more then the 3.0 d due to the mapping I believe.
It's only about £100 too.
I've no connections with any of this, just what I've read.
