Looks like the capacitive sensors on my rear drivers side door handle have stopped working. Bit odd -
Key battery is fine because the other doors work as expected
Not that I have the key too far away, still fails if I have the key in my hand right next to the handle
Hall effect sensor still works as when I pull the handle the door unlocks
Seems odd that both capacitive sensors in the door have gone at the same time - both lock and unlock. Is this common? Anything I can try before booking in to be replaced? It's under warranty so that's fine just going to be a pain finding the time to take it in.

Re: Comfort access rear door handle
Wasn't working this morning. Left it at the station all day, came back this evening and it's working fine. Bit strange. No check control errors. Will have to get my diagnostic cable setup this weekend to check for errors.

Water in the handle? It's been pretty damp recently!

Re: Comfort access rear door handle
I thought that but these things should be waterproof!

Re: Comfort access rear door handle
Agreed, it might be in the wiring itself rather than the handle. Amazing how a tiny bit of condensation can screw up your day >:(

Re: Comfort access rear door handle
Guess I'll just keep an eye on it and mention when it goes in for a service in a few months. If there's any error logged they should replace under warranty.
