drivers door

My drivers door not locking or unlocking so i thought i could lock with the key out of the remote but thats not working can some one help ?

Questions are have you replaced the battery recently? If so was it coded to the car? If not how old is the battery? if recent then probably it's poss the door mechanism assuming you have checked the fuses first.
