Up until a few weeks ago it was working OK.  Then it started showing a series of coloured bands on the screen when reversing.  Now its completely dead, just a blank screen when reversing.  Can anybody advise what the problem is?  Thanks

I had a similar isue with an aftermarket camera I fitted to my Golf. It turned out to be water ingress in the camera.
I suspect it was caused by an over zealous guy with the steam cleaner at my local car wash.
Bought another camera that was advertised as "Waterproof " this started to fog up after a while, usually after getting the car washed

On other forums, it has been suggested that the wiring loom has broken, but quite a few people have had success by removing the rear hatch trim, unplugging the lead from the camera and plugging it back in - it seems the connector itself can be a weak spot.
