Hi guys, just driven our E70 down the motorway and at 70mph there is a slight vibration through the car, I put it in neutral also and it was still there.
I will check the wheels tomorrow but what other parts of the drive train have given issues in the past?
Thanks in advance.

I dont own your specific X5 model, but did the E70's have prop shaft failure,of course your may not be one of them that had this issue, but just a slim chance that a prop shaft is failing ??
I of course could me miles out and probably am

Do you get noise at 70 mph too? Possible wheel bearing, does it only happen at that speed? Also worth a check of the wheel nuts too, just in case

I used to get vibration at 60 mph, not above nor below, it was tyre related.

I am due for some new tyres as these Mich Latitude Sport 3's now have over 20k on them.
When there is no passenger in the front you can see the head rest on the passenger seat vibrate, I have read this before though.

One or more of the wheel balancing weights might have fallen off, If your tyres havnt been balanced in 20K miles its very possible.
Or maybee bent wheel, from a pothole...
Just throwing a few suggestions into the ring...
