while driving about radio signal is poor station keeps dropping off, not just on one station tried several different station just on FM. had this problem for ages now.
just noticed today with just ignition on radio signal is spot on soon as the engine is started radio signal goes very poor. turn off engine goes ok again.
any suggestions?

Do you get a whirling boise that increases with the engine speed , this used to be a problem years ago when the alternators suppression was faulty ?  Ot come across this for many years though.

no noises just as if signal strength halfs and goes week.
also noticed first push of ignition radio is perfect second push of ignition signal goes week and station quality is poor so its not just with engine running.
