hi guys
After a 5 hour slog back home through traffic from dorset to essex with the caravan yesterday I thought the car was running perfect until I popped to the shop tonight and this popped up I drove it up the road and back, turned it off and back on and it disappeared after a quick look on here it could possibly be a steering angle sensor? does this sound right?
I'll pop into my mates place on Wednesday and get the codes read.

This could be a number of things with the steering angle sensor being one. No way of telling until you have codes read I am afraid.

took the x5 to my mates and it needed the steering angle sensor re calibrated, took a few minutes and is now fine but I now need a new glow plug controller

Not to painful then,,,,but the controller is an arse...why they put it where they did baffles me....50 pence of extra wire could have placed it in an easier place.
