Re: M3 comp to M50D?

The 8 series is too small in the back for me and the M8 simply too much money. I didn’t look at an X5M because I remember when I had my 4.8iS I was lucky to get 12mpg and I suspect the X5M would be worse! I’m getting 20mpg from the F90 M5 and 30 on a run. I know you don’t buy these cars for mpg but ...

Re: M3 comp to M50D?

I'll throw my 2 pence worth in here..................... I had an F10 M5 which I loved but found the power totally unusable unless the weather was warm and dry, two wheel drive and 560hp can only mean feathering the throttle! I then went into a brand new 50D on a 66 plate pec'd by myself with almost...

Am fairly desperate for Saturday due to a commitment. Where about in West Sussex are you? Bit of a shlep for me unless I'm doing the Brighton thing!
I'm just South of Horsham, I'll pm you my details.

Re: Whisbar roof bars for F15

Hi there. F15 driver and just registered to reply to this. I need to get some roof bars asap and wondered if before I buy online (roof box.co.uk) whether these are still available? I need to organise to receive on or before Saturday. Please kindly let me know if you see this and can do a quick deal...

Whisbar roof bars for F15

I have a set of Whisbar flush roof bars. Been used twice and as new with two locking keys. The blurb suggests these are the best and quietest on the market......and I can believe it. In my experience there is little or no wind noise at all! Cost new £195 plus delivery and I’ll accept £135 including ...

Re: Goodbye X5 50d

My car has the option sports exhaust and so far all I can hear when I hit the right button are pops and bangs 8)

I’m not sure if it’s more or less artificial than my F10, to be honest I’m too busy trying to pull my eyeballs from the back of my head.....

No, Vines Gatwick.

I’ve bought a lot of cars from them and they always seem to hit the mark.

Re: Goodbye X5 50d

some seriously tempting deals on these things do they do an estate?! :P https://www.marshall.co.uk/bmw/new-car-offers/m5/ That's a cracking quote for a standard M5 Anyone looking at these offers will probably add a few bits here and there albeit it's a pretty well spec'd car to start with. Worth al...

Goodbye X5 50d

3 years and 34,000 miles in the 50d and what a great car. No faults, no issues apart from an average of low 20's except on a run through Europe where I managed nearly 40mpg. Quick, refined with very little diesel noise/rattle and the toys I had were great. It's going and I'm trading it against a bra...

Re: Playing with the Drone

Great video and they’re a great little drone. I also have the Mavic Air and took it in holiday to Greece earlier this year. The image quality is superb and it’s really easy to fly with full confidence. By chance I took mine up to the South Downs today but the weather whilst warm was not too clear so...
