Re: Would you re map?
I bought my 2006 E53 when it had 80k KMS on the clock and had it remapped shortly afterwards (278PS/535NM) It's now got 245k KMS on the clock and with the exception of a precautionary turbo change 3 years ago, all I have had to do to it is regular servicing, oil change every 5000 KMS etc. Not only d...

Re: iPod lead?
I've got a lead like Sanj mentioned on mine.
I plugs into the AUX socket on the back of the Head Unit and then into the headfones socket on the iFone.
Works OK except volume is a bit lower than usual sources.

Re: abs not working / hill decent not working / dsc not working
I also had this problem with a knackered battery, check that as well.
As soon as I replaced mine I stopped getting the Gremlins.

Is your iPod the older model? I have an iPod Touch 5 with Lightening connector, can he fit those to or just the
older type cable? Have you got standard speakers still?

I've just bought CTEK MXS7.0 as my battery was failing over Christmas, £110 on Amazon, it's excellent.

Re: Baris @ Carphonics has worked his miracle!
Ah, you can see what's playing and control on the screen now? Even if iPod is in the boot?
That's definitely worth doing. Does it also charge the iPod or do you need to do something else for that?

Re: Pdc sensors
Hmmmm, mine has just started to do the same thing, but the front works and the back not, so I'm guessing
that one of the sensors must be knackered, even if they are all making the 'clicking' sound.

Re: Baris @ Carphonics has worked his miracle!
Interested to know how you get on. I've bought a 2nd hand BM54 to send away to him. Must say in all the write-ups in M3Cutters never heard of any probs. What year is your X5? Does the iPod connect to the BM54 in the boot and you have a long cable to the front or is it connected behind the head-unit?...
