Re: Enable TV in Motion ad Aux heating with BMW 1.4.0
I must say I had it done in my old E39, but that was to be able to get the 2 rear headrest screens working
to watch TV for the kids.
If you put something on that you have absolutely no interest in, then it doesn't affect you

Re: New Owner
You could look at a Dynavin replacement head unit at £600 http://www.dynavinstore.com/shop/bmw-series/dynavin-dvn-e39a-d99.html The DVN-E39A is the most technically advanced unit available for your BMW E39 5-Series (1996-2003) or BMW E53 X5-Series (1999-2006). The software of the DVN-E39A can be upg...

Re: x5 3.0D remap
I had my '05 3.0d re-mapped about 2 months after I bought it 6 years ago. It already had a 'strong' engine before the re-map according to the guy that did it. I had it on a rolling road about 3 years ago and it had 275 PS and 535 NM if I remember correctly. Fuel consumption improved 1-2 MPG on short...
Tbh I don't know - there used to be a thread on the old intravention forum but that site is no more. Have a search on this forum as it's been used for all things Intravee now and RichardP is the guru on this.
Ah yes, I'm on the 5 forum so I can go ask, cheers Sanj.

Re: What Exactly is Intravee?
You can keep a CD changer with an Intravee if you want, it just means buying a different Alpine CD player which is a physical match for the OEM one and fits exactly but works with Intravee. It means more expense and work though, I did it on my Z4 and wished I hadn't bothered ...
