XDrivers Meet Summer 2017

Looking to see if there is any interest in an Xdrivers meet this summer. Spoke to Sanj and he has said he can communicate with Jason about having it round his. For those unfamiliar, we have had a couple of meets at BW Chiptune in West London. Jason offers a few services on the day, the best is usual...

Re: Used classified prices on diesel models significantly dropping

why would the reduction be attributed to yrs rather than mileage and charges? data is a few yrs old so possibly would expect better results on newer models?  http://insideevs.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/maxrange2.png Not saying your wrong at all, just find it extremely concerning if a 10% battery...

Re: Used classified prices on diesel models significantly dropping

[quote="X5Sport"] It seems to be a 'Buyer's Market' in all sorts of areas at present, and certainly where big ticket items are involved. There just isn't the spare cash about with incomes falling behind inflation so more and more of us don't have the buying power.  Most of what you have al...

Re: Floor mats with a difference

These are very popular on the facebook groups. quite a few companies offering them.

Personally, I don't like them at all and agreed, no idea how you would keep them clean? Almost looks like a desi house rule application - shoes off before entering!

Re: LPG

what system do you have?? All LPG should start on petrol and turns to LPG once warmed up. I had a BRC system and I know Prins do this also (2 of the most expensive set ups). You shouldn't be starting on LPG. If you have a switch, try starting the car on petrol, drive around until warm then switch it...

Re: Moving On

For those who are returning their cars, what are you guys doing about insurance? As I got my car on the 8th March, my insurance expires next week yet for some reason my lease expires April. Does this also mean I have to get another annual service done and MOT? Sorry for the questions but this is all...

Re: Looking at buying, sat nav options

[quote="Dysan"] Thanks all for the advice.  I'm not that bothered about the Sat Nav maps being out of date, they are on my Vectra and I won't update that as you lose the traffic info.  Most places are still where they were 10 years ago  ;) So If I understand correctly, on models with the s...

Re: Looking at buying, sat nav options

the system will be so outdate its not something I would bother with tbh. Get a double din Pionner/Alpine unit with Bluetooth and satnav and you will all the features of a new car. Double din is very simple to fit also. Chinese units look tempting but I would pick a proven quality brand each time. Al...

Re: Considering an E70

You can have a cic unit retrofitted for around 750 - 1,050 depending on fitter and extras. Shouldn't be a deal breaker.
