Re: what the f%@k
I suppose the good thing is that the wheels are not included in the sale. The only question is why keep them !?!

Re: Replacing rear BMW badge
The rear one is stuck with double sided foam adhesive (sorry not sure of name) - When I replaced mine I just used some number plate adhesive pads trimmed to suit. If you are using the genuine BMW one it may be worth asking for the adhesive pad as well if it doesn't come with one. I was replacing all...

Re: Sonos
Had the connect for a while and got a couple of Play 5's last Christmas. Really well thought out pieces of kit. Even my wife likes them and to say she hates my 'toys' would be an understatement. Spotify is amazing. Ended up having to get a second spotify account for my eldest once she realised what ...

Re: 4.8is plastic pipe dislodged under bonnet
The pipe with the red arrow is supposed to be like that - same on my 4.4. Not sure exactly what it is though tbh but sure someone will post. Is the one marked green for power steering? I had what I thought was an oil leak as I saw a drop of oil on my drive and when I checked it was the pipes perishe...

It's fixed. The badge I got just stuck over the top of the original.

Re: My x5 4.4i sport
Like mine - best spec and colour really nice example.
Been tracking fuel usage on mine over the last year since I bought it. Decent runs with combination of motorway and A roads with a trans pennine section give me just over 20mpg. My daily driving around town is closer to 12mpg.

Re: New 'Crash for Cash' scam
One of the problems is the highway code only says to flash headlights to let other motorists know you are there. I suppose these guys will use that to their advantage. I'm very defensive when I drive. Too many people running red lights round here and regardless of someone flashing to let me go I wil...

I remember the booklet but was only 11 at the time. Have vague memories of my parents discussing it. A very different world indeed.

Re: light above mirror on visor
You can see a sort of spring clip. No tools needed. Just pull down on the long edge nearest to you.
(Facelift here if it makes any difference)

On mine you pull down on the long edge furthest from the visor. Have a dodgy iphone pic I will post in a sec.

I do have a trim removal tool that I was using. Will have another try. At least there are no clips to break. Cheers guys.

Re: Reverse Camera Install (E53)
Almost embarrassed to admit this but I'm struggling to remove the tailgate grip piece to start fitting my camera. I have undone the 4 t20 screws but can't seem to get the handle to move at all. I am very concerned about breaking anything but are there any clips etc? Any tips for removing this?

Re: Intravee Latest Firmware 6.02-7035
Just checked to make sure I'm not giving duff info. This is with 7044 Entry/exit with intravee setting - top part lit. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/07/21/zezyne9u.jpg Car lights on - both parts lit http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/07/21/5u3uheha.jpg And finally parking light on with indicator - only top...
