Maybe a cracked manifold my brother as the same problem (he’s got a e53) as been diagnosed as that.

Hi and welcome make sure when you view one check everything and we mean everything works ok.These beasts have many little faults (let’s face it all luxury cars do 😁).
Ask away on here I no a little but there’s guys on here with vastly more experience and you’ll always get an answer.

I think you’ve got to give him a chance to fix it then if it’s not done correctly you can reject it and get a full refund.
I’m not being nosey but how did you pay for it did you by any chance pay any of it with a credit card ie deposit.

As Don as said let the dealer who you bought the car of 1st have a look at it.
Dont let anybody else start any work on it before he can have the chance to.

30 days warranty 😂😂 should be at least 90 days if it’s the one for you pay a deposit or some of the balance with a credit card your covered then.
