Re: Door Handle Fix (E53)

Hi Guys. Also suffering here (6 hours and counting trying to replace the carrier). I managed to do it, or so I thought, (getting the allen screw lined up was a real pig) however when testing the lock it appears that the tension of the cable isnt sufficient enough to open the door. On the cable the p...

Re: Self Level Suspension Inactive - cleared but bouncy ride

Only 59k. I'm pretty certain that it's genuine. I've done the due diligence and know the history of the car. I don't believe for one second that it has been clocked. (I spot them very quickly as I worked in the motor industry for 6 years). I wouldn't expect suspension problems with that type of mile...

No idea if its full or just rear. How do I tell? I've been through the owners manual and it looks like some models have three settings and a button on the centre console to press. I turned off the engine and then back on again and it disappeared. The problem I have is that the wife had only driven the ca...

Re: Exterior door trim removal

I thought it would be pretty simple. If the clips are just for guidance I am right in assuming that double sided tape is required when putting them back on. Is it easy to get the old tape off? If I put new tape over the old tape then they arent likely to fit flush when refitted.
