Xenon headlights retrofit advice please ??
I've acquired a pair of complete Bi-Xenon headlight units, with the intention of swapping them with my poxy Halogen units (bought the car assuming it had Xenons..). Re: Admiral insurance
Just got my renewal from Swift Cover....£630 fully comp.
So i did the confused.com thing and....£337...same cover with AXA.
As a rule, i never blindly accept any insurance renewals without shopping around first.

Re: Xenon's self levelling?
Calling Imy..
Having got myself a pair of Xenon headlight units complete. I'm now having trouble finding a Garage willing to do the upgrade (in Luton).
Did you fit yours, or did a garage do it for you, if so can you tell which garage you used??
any help info greatly appreciated.

Re: Newbie just landed at planet BMW
Welcome aboard Doc.
good luck with the upgrades.
The LEDs should be easy (assuming you have Xenon headlights), my 09 35d has Halogens, as i made the mistake of assuming Xenons were OEM fit on all E70's...

Re: Xenon's self levelling?
Imy
How easy/hard was it to fit the headlight units..??
I'm thinking of doing the same conversion to my 2009 none xenon E70, so any help/guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Oh, and does anyone know whats the difference between Xenon and Bi-Xenon light units??
Cheers

Re: Retrofitting LCI Xenon Corona Headlights To Pre-LCI E70, help / input required
I'm watching this thread with great interest, as i'm thinking of doing the same type of conversion to my 2009 none xenon E70.
Though not necessarily fitting the LCI light units, as i'm thinking the the Bi-Xenon units might be more compatible/easier to fit.
So, very good luck with conversion treelo.

Re: New X5 - Pistonheads article
What are BMW thinking with that god awful 'Austin Allegro' brown paint....horrid.
No i dont like it. looks too much like the X3.
However, show me one in Alpine white or black though and i might be swayed.
