Re: Possible X6 Purchase

Had my X6 40D for about 6 months now..and loving it.

Get one with comfort seats and cameras all-round.

Driven sensibly, i'm getting 30+mpg, but she never drops below 24mpg, even when cruising at 100mph.

Will be having a remap done next, for even better driveability and fuel economy (hopefully).

Re: New x4

Had a look at one at the dealer launch last weekend. They had a Pink 3.0d Msport. looked nice in the flesh, and the interior was very nice, and quite roomy. Looked like a scaled down X6 from the side/rear view, and a new X3 from the front. I'd be interested to see one parked next to an X6, just for ...

Re: New X6 (now with some pink ones)

Hummm.... quite like the front end's aggressive visage..

But i'm not sure i like the squared-off back end though, as its lost its curvy lines.

The Pink one looks good though.... ;)

LOL...yes

Shame i couldn't get a shot of the front, because the front was very aggressive looking.  8)

Custom X6 Spotted

Spotted this tricked up X6 40d yesterday.
Very neatly done body kit, but a bit OTT for me.

Re: Xenons?

When i bought my 09 E70, I just assumed it had Xenons as standard, but it didn't, and the lights were shite, and i couldn't upgrade the Halo's (not easily anyhow). Bought a pair of complete Xenon headlight units, to do a retro fit, but sold the car before i had chance. So that reminds me, i must put...

sorry to hijack, but on a slight tangent.. Can anyone tell me when the brighter OEM rings become standard on X5 E70 ?

Thanks

Re: Bye Bye X5 - Hello X6

Ok, its i've had the X6 a couple of weeks and 1200 miles now....and i'm loving it. Standout features for me are: 1. Active steering is excellent and a vast improvement over my E70's heavy steering. 2. Comfort seats are exactly what it says on the tin...All day luxurious. 3. 40D engine is a beauty, b...

Hey, I'm glad you spelt Diavel correctly, as the Honda Duval is truely an abomination....... ;)
