Re: Quality bodyshops
Baron’s BMW in Bedford (was Elms until recently but same chain) is a BMW Approved Workshop - one of only a few allegedly.  Used them twice for the E46 and sorting out bad paint on the X6.  Good job both times, and prices quite reasonable.
Thanks I might pop over ...

Quality bodyshops

Right not a Bmw but a VW that needs a Bodyshop repair in around Herts area, tried a few over the years but not truly happy with the results and mostly their attitudes when you tell them you’re not 100% happy!
So anyone on this forum have a good Bodyshop to recommend?

Re: Kitchen concrete floor.
If you are re-concreting it then probably underneath the screed layer.. If not then there may end up too much movement to guarantee the tile staying put as the insulation will be spongey in comparison.... However saying that look into how the Americans do it.. as i b...

Re: Kitchen concrete floor.
Has it a damp course ? I once laid a tiled floor on concrete , next day they had all lifted up . Check first if it has a damp course , if not I would think about laying something else ( I put down water resistant laminate with a foil backed underlay ) 6 years on still as go...

Re: Headup display

It seems Bmw still haven't sorted this very minor and frustrating error in aligning the HUD. Not sure we are allowed to mention ISTA but this what I used to realigned my HUD and E-Sys software is for the many coding options on the F15 which in my eyes far more easier than on the E70! If anyone is ne...

Re: And another 50d delivered this month
All lovely, couple more observations...... The speed limit display is just a little too far over to the left - I have posted on a thread from March and understand this can be rectified using ISTA (whatever that is?) However rather disapointingly my son pointed out the to...

4 Corner suspension - rear left low

Yes Paulpen that's the best option, coding out is easy if you use Ncexpert which I used to remove susp. Inact from cluster, after a full 4 wheel alignment to sort the geometry.

4 Corner suspension - rear left low

It wasnt my car just helped a mate out who had the same problems as you are constantly pouring money replacing parts like as if a bottomless pit. That was 2years now and he's not spent any more £'s on it and the ride is good so no negatives. Regards to towing I believe at the time I fitted the rear ...

4 Corner suspension - rear left low

I've done the same conversion on the 4.8 and tbh it isnt that difficult, its labour intensive espcially the fitting of the rear springs but very achievable.
Get it done and you wont have any more issues after!

Regards to ride quality its not far off from all round air but its no big deal.

Daft question but, they've not done something wacky like fitted the wider alloys with the 255 50 19 tyres and put them on the front have they?
