I had mine replaced with the Aerosus ones, and so far its been fine... That was about 12 months ago..

As X5Sport has said,,,"It is a ‘trait’ of the vehicle",,,, especially if you go off the recommended BMW settings.. Ive had 3 x X5,s, and only on my latest car have i got over the "trait" of the X5... I got my car aligned at a Hunter equipped garage,,, ******* NOT BMW dealership. ...

Just a quick update on the towbar issues..

I had it replaced today under warranty... the bill came to....ZERO.... Other than a MOT fee as the MOT was due soon......

Im one happy chap.......

I have a C110 code reader scanner, that i used on my 08 plate E70, to read fault codes etc, for sale.

Obviously its used , but i didnt use it a great deal..

Not needed anymore as i now have a F15 40D...

These seem to be aprox £35 on ebay

Well it seems a bit of knowledge, and some persistence, pays off, as the BMW dealership has agreed to replace the towbar under warranty, as i calmly reminded them that its on the build sheet. :thumbsup: And not as they told me fitted at the dealership shortly after delivery..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was told by the dealers that the towbar etc was fitted by them after delivery,, and as such has a 2 year warranty, which is now ended,,,,, BUT looking on the vin decoder it states it was factory fit, or at least it was specced with it from new, buy the first owner.
