Had the same symptoms as you..

Sent it off to Baris and had it back to me in two days with channels fixed and amps upgraded... :punk:

Top service and damn fine chap to talk to...

Type in carphonics I think for all the details..

I take it the recoding brings the rear down to make it level with the front??

Are there any problems in doing this,is it something my Indy would frown upon doing?

Is there a limit to how far you can bring it down?

Also would the geometry need re doing?.

Having just seen pics of a very nice lowered X in the states it got the little grey cells wondering..... Now bearing in mind I tow a caravan so will want to keep the rear air suspension to keep things level.. Is there a way of lowering mine?. Forgive me if this is a stupid question I'm just curious ...

I replaced all 4 of mine with Nankang SP5's about 4k ago

£450 all in and I'm quite impressed..

Road noise nice n low for a budget tyre..

Ha!!

Nah he normally wants a vehicle for 3 days anyway but seeing as it's a X and it's not in the best shape paint wise he's allowed 5 just in case..
He's charging me £500 so I'm expecting something nice at the end..
I've seen some of his previous work so I'm pretty confident!!

Thanks for all the replies-very helpfull Will try the box reset and see how I get on. Like I said I do drive it very sedately and the previous owner may have been lead footed.. Nah he said all seems good with the box/diffs etc ..

Had me a bit fuming at the time as he gave it a good thrashing(I do drive it like a girl tho to be honest)!!!  >:(
