hi... i did [plus a lot of other on this forum] set one up in my X5 with 30pin lead connected to the AUX input. all fine albeit audio levels are fairly low compared to CD/Radio levels etc. Plus the fat that if you want lightning connector you'll need another adapter... my suggestion would be to drop...

Hi guys, After no. Of months in fast lane and very enjoying rides in my 4.8is i'm planning to part company and go for something more subtle... Yet different :). I've been looking at Audi A8 4.2 tdi which i'm so keen to get on/in so was wondering had anyone ever had one and could share some insights?...

Thx... No plans to DIY it as car does not have any issues at the mo (touch wood). However as part of contingency planning i'd like to understand what is the fig associated with repair if anyone has ever done it or knows one that have done that job...

and to add my car was fitted with cheepo 'white angel eyes' lights that were flashing badly and draining far too much battery casing similar symptoms. it wasn't a much of a problem during warmer days but very noticeable with lower temperatures. Swapped those for error free option -> charged the batt...

If the suspension is okay tyres should be fine for good 10-12k+.... Btw, bmw's are prone to steering rack issues so you may as well check that too.
