I might be able to pull one in over the weekend...
what's the issue - DIY job [i'd advise against] or you plan to take it to a 'reputable' garage and use it for reference?

Re: Service issue advice please
again personal preference [and incl, the time/cost factor in as well]... these days i only do 3k miles a year and that includes 2k round trip to Europe. However, I tend to service my cars regularly once a year - oil+filter+pollen etc [with fuel filter being done every other year]. to keep everything...

Re: Battery charger
cheers... FYI - bought one from Lidl for £12.99 [on offer from 19.99 ] and it had worked a treat.
I also tested the same on the bike and all I could say that it's been brilliant so far. 2 years guarantee, did a job on two distinct batteries/V's for just over a tenner... brill.

Stupid q... Can you charge the batt. Via terminals under the bonnet or it has to be plugged to the actual battery points (bugger to get to in the boot)? Ta

Re: Warranty Direct - any value?
Had a chat with them today and it seems that as the car is 'used' [obviously] and due to wear and tear they would only cover 50% for the cost of parts. However both labour [up to £200 p/h] and/or any diagnostics will be covered in full. So not bad after all isn't it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Warranty Direct - any value?
Hi... I've been thinking of getting WD. for nearly 200quid a year it seems like a no brainer with 50 excess. Now... Although they cover bits such as engine, g'box, transmission etc... Is it really worth it snd would they cover both parts and labour if anything goes 'wrong'? For instance... Is Vanos ...

Re: Has anyone used Uniglory Iceblade winter tyres?
never heard of it... i'd suggest to go for reputable brand as quality and expectations above all should/would be met. Even a 2nd hand/used branded tyres are [in my opinion] better than budget equivalent.
Hope that helps.

The X5 cost £1350 to convert
That's sounds cheap, what conversion did you get, I always hear about BRC and Prinz but they are expensive, allegedly no stutter at full throttle - do you find it ok under all driving demands. Thought it seemed like a good...
