My 3.0d SE consumes AddBlue at the rate of approx. 1 litre per 1000miles, some of which was towing a caravan, if this makes any difference.  Is this normal or excessive?

It looks to me that your  non standard wheels have got thicker castings in the rim area, that's why the original valves don't poke through enough. :-[

I have a new Smart (which is absolutely excellent) that has a Sat nav,  that rings up all speed cameras, speed limits, average speed monitoring, change of limit and when the car is breaking the speed limit, all of which can se switched of for use in France etc.  Smart cost 1/4 of what the X5 cost.  ...

So far as I can remember, power folders were an option when I purchased mine in September 2014, however I think they also came as part of the" Comfort" front seat option which I  opted for.

Hi X5Sport, Thanks for all that info, re. the last paragraph where park re-engages after 15 minutes, could this be prevented by disconnecting the battery, also, you mentioned emergency handbrake release, is there a way, as there's no mention in the handbook ??  Regards, Barry.
