Just a note this was the only plug housing I could find, it has a key way in the middle but the crank shaft sensor has a key way off center, so hot soldering iron and new key ...

Problem solved....
In the end it was several problems…
The crank shaft sensor can have an o-ring or a metal spacer or both. This is to achieve the specific “air gap”, so new crank shaft sensor, o-ring and metal spacer.

Hi this is a bit of a long shot but I have a problem which I've been unable to fix I have a Range Rover L322 4.4 Petrol 2003 (Basically a BMW X5 E53 4.4 with the BMW M62 engine and gearbox)
