Anyone ever had an issue with this? Car telling me it's 13.5 degrees C, when my 140 (sat next to it) says 5 degrees! X5 less 1.5 years old, so it'll be going back under warranty.

What are you planning on carrying (numbers, weight)? My experience of rear carriers is not great, and now only load bikes on the roof or on a tow ball mounted carrier. Is the new bulb an LED? If so it won't be pulling enough current for the car to detect, it then throws an error. If it is an LED, you need to get a CANBUS error free version (cheap enough on eBay). If it isn't, I've no idea.
