Re: 2011 E70, X5 4.0d lci
Those pics are quite old now, I assume it still looks as nice?
It’s now at a great price compared to the 18k you wanted from me last year, lol.
Good luck with the sale, it looks a good’n.

Re: Removing Window Trim
Mines in Space Grey and has black grilles and it'll have black trim soon, looks great in my opinion. Check ebay and Autotrader as they'll have some for sale with black trims.

Re: Removing Window Trim
I've been quoted 2hrs for wrapping so not bad at all. I asked about spraying and a professional bodyshop said they wouldn't touch them as it never sticks properly.

Re: Removing Window Trim
Have you thought about having them wrapped, mine are being done soon at a cost of 140 quid. I think they'll mark to easily if painted in any way.

Re: New (to me) car time
Your BMW Approved Used Car Warranty will last for a minimum of 12 months. ... All service and maintenance and repairs must be carried out as an Authorised BMW Centre to be covered under Warranty. :D Looks like a fine car once the scuff is sorted and the Bmw warranty will be worth it weight in gold....

Re: New (to me) car time
Ahh didn’t realise you’re so far away from the rest of the world, lol. Along with the extra BHP you’ll also be getting the better idrive, slightly cheaper tax, a bit better fuel economy and of course the 8 speed gearbox. Have you considered a newer 30d instead then get a remap?

Re: New (to me) car time
If you can stretch to a 40d then do it as they are great (I have one) but don't buy something that's cheap for a reason if you know what I mean as it'll always need to be cheap and possibly difficult to sell on. That 40d is silver, just compare the front reg plate colour with the bumper colour. It a...

Re: Webasto Heater Telestart Remote Reciever Location
Cheers for the link but it’s not worth shelling out £200 for what it does. Looking about I think the receiver is built into the heater as I found a YouTube video of someone operating one remotely that wasn’t even fitted into a car and was just powered up. The timer in the idrive is working fine for ...

Re: Webasto Heater Telestart Remote Reciever Location
It doesn’t work like that on my 2010 LCi E70 as it’s not an app based idrive but uses a separate remote control unit that simply switches it on or off.
