Car shifts up and down the gears fine but when I checked it on XHP software the E clutch is at its max of 750mbar. Morning all, I am wanting to do gearbox oil change on my x5 with 180k on it but I went to check the clutch’s on diagnostic and e clutch is showing 750 which is at it max. The car has no running issues so do you thing it will be safe to change or just leave it

Morning all as I’m going to be replacing my glow plugs in the next few weeks I thought while the inlet manifold was off was to clean it. Now I’ve seen some post that that people have soaked it in caustic soda but the question I want to know is how long do I soak it for.

Morning all iv been using 5w30 oil in my 3.0d e53 for the passed 3-4 years. The car is now sitting on 185,000 miles so should I keep to the same oil or maybe a more thicker oil. The car is a non dpf car being a 2004 model.

Well guess the time has come to change the rear subframe bushes on the old girl. Got the tool and bushes on order. I may do a write up on the job if it’s going to be any help on here
