Re: BMW Warranty

I think the BMW Warranties go up at 70K miles but if you pay monthly then you keep going at a similar rate.

Re: Warranty Query - Have you used it abroad?

Thanks for your help.  I do have the booklet, it does look promising. There is no answer on the numbers today so I'll be calling them tomorrow after 9.

I'll let you know how it goes.

...fingers crossed.

Warranty Query - Have you used it abroad?

Hi, We are in the France and it looks like the air bag has failed on the rear suspension. We have the comprehensive BMW insured warranty but without emergency cover. The car drives but doesn't like bumps much. We finished off the journey by driving carefully and slowly for the last bit. Luckily we w...

Re: Removable tow bar / Warranty question

With this tow-bar. There is some cutting away needed isn't there? Did you need any additional parts other than the tow bar too? I have an E70 30d M Sport 59 plate and I found the ikea-style instructions not completely clear. I'm too chicken to do it myself but my local garage will do this for me and...

Re: Must have's?

I also make a point of paying £100 on a credit card.. Amazing what protection you can get from Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act.. ^^ deffo this. Coverage up to 20K I think. If you go for the BMW insured warranty then under 60K mile makes roughly 100% price difference and I think if you pay mon...

Re: DAB

Like this? http://www.dabonwheels.co.uk/AutoDAB_integrated_add-on_DAB_car_radio.html One of the down sides is that the windscreen aerials are not that great and unless you want to make holes you might end up with an aerial that has a wire training through your boot :( Not sure if there is a cost eff...

Re: Extended Interior Light Package

I have the lights under the door handles.

I haven't checked the door bins but I do have 2 lights for each side passenger e.g.  a standard light and a reading light. Is that it or is that just standard?

Re: Removable tow bar / Warranty question

I may just sleep tonight!
Haha - I know that feeling which is why I think I'll leave it to someone else :)

My mechanical list is long enough just taking care of the family bikes.

Thanks for the tips though.
