I ended up going direct to Avin and at yesterday's exchange rate it was £393 delivered.  Waiting for delivery but it will be good to get rid of the marked screen I currently have and add functionality.

Thanks for the reply, I am about to do the same through Avin.  Could you confirm that the FM and the DAB work in the UK?  Are there any negatives so far?

Could I ask what you ended up paying, were you clobbered for import duties?

this is an absolute must for my screen, could you enlarge on 'LCD cleaner', I'm guessing the solvent will need to clean the existing anti glare coating off?

I'm also looking for mudflaps but everything I find on ebay doesn't fit the m sport body.  Not keen to pay dealer prices so I'd appreciate any pointers on where to buy.

Picking up on the last post, The second is towbars.  Is there a guide on how to fit anywhere?

I had a Passat with blocked drains, the fault was actually at the drain end as the rubber exit has a flap to stop muck going up, the exits were in the A post.

Compressed air on the Passat was not recommended as it blew the rubber drain tube of the drain and then you were buggered!

over the now 2500miles I have had it, yet to drop below an average of 30mpg.

Well 2000miles in and really pleased with the car. 

My screen has what look like bubbles on it, as if there is a clear film badly applied over the top.  Is there anyway to remedy this, hard to see in sunlight.

I have added 7.5l exactly which says full on I drive and 1/3 Rd on the dipstick.  I still feel a bit more would be ideal but I believe 7.5l is right for an oil change.

Thank you.  What is the capacity of the 3.0sd, I have read 6.5, 7.5 and 8.5?

Which do I believe?  The dipstick shows c. 1l to fill and the IDrive picture is saying full?

Thanks for the replies.  I haven't looked underneath yet but I assume 2 control arms each side (wishbones?).  Economical way will be to replace the bush not the arm?

Bushes seem refreshingly reasonable, how much of a job is it to fit?  Cost?
