I have the rear carbon diffuser and recently got a westfalia towbar fitted. No issues, no cutting. It can definitely be done.

I had the same issue too. I’m now paying around £600 with Aviva but had to get a tracker fitted to get it down to that >:( I got the Trackstar which is apparently BMW approved but it set me back around £300 plus around £130 a year. eBay has genuine bmw parts available from a bunch of bmw dealerships. I got my rear diffuser from one & saved a fortune.
