Gees I'm getting good at this

Well after a 2 hour flight and an 1100km drive its home. Seems to be a good car but as usual needs some work so I've been busy ordering parts like mirror and new bonnet and rear gate struts as well as fitting the android head unit i managed to get from the wreck of the previous car.

Hope this got around Spamhaus

When I initially talked to my ISP they said that it can sometimes never get fixed and that they have found the easy way is to just hand out a new IP address. One of the comments was "Oh them they're not still at it are they".

Hope this got around Spamhaus

I was blacklisted by Spamhaus for a reason they would not discuss so I ended up getting my ISP to change my IP address. Be wary folk if you cop it the best thing is to change IP and get going from there. If I was sending spam then my ISP would have known (it is compulsory in Oz for them to monitor f...

Thats intriguing, will a motorbike fit in an X5? Assuming of course you're not cycling 800k
If you drop it from high enough :P

Gees I'm getting good at this

Thanks guys. It's the Kangaroos that are furry grasshoppers and despite what is said they are very road aware they hop out to the side, stop, look both ways and jump out in front of you but I have found the wallabies usually are a bit better they will most often just watch you go bye or slowly turn ...

Gees I'm getting good at this

Gees I'm getting good at this just written off one more first the E36 on a Furry Grasshopper then the E32 on a rock and now the X5. Hit a gigantic hole which was full of what looked like gravel but was like quicksand. Front left wheel smashed and car went bush. So seeing as I am a sucker for punishm...

Steering Rack ends

Thanks I saw that a special tool was required and the drawing of it looked as if it was a thin end to get into a tight spot but if normal tools like a hammer and axe are all that is needed then i should be fine.

Steering Rack ends

Greetings to the long lost world of X5. The steering rack ends have had the fritz on the E53 and need replacing and when reading up on the subject I see that a "special tool" is needed to get at the nut or whatever it is called to get the rack ends out. Being of Scots decent I don't want t...

Re: Coil over suspension

Thanks Raj I'll have a search and do my homework. I'll have plenty of time as I have some shoulder joint replacement surgery coming up very soon and from experience with the other side it will take a while before I am back on deck.

Coil over suspension

I blew a left air bag on the rear suspension on Tuesday and had to drive about 70km home and that is when it bought home to me just how vulnerable the bags are. It looked like a sharp small stone got wedged abs chaffed the bag. I had no plans for the Christmas break so only having the motorcycle for...

Re: INPA it's driving me nuts

Thanks that is exactly the thing I have been looking for.
Even when I had the INPA stuff working it was real clunky and awkward to use.

INPA it's driving me nuts

I have posted the same thing on the 7 Series register but will do so here to possibly get to more users. I have been using the INPA software since I had a E36 320 then onto the E32 730 V8. I found that it didn't do everything I would have liked and was a bit clunky but helpful however when I got thi...
