Battery kill switch
Greetings - Yes I still have my X5 but it does very little mileage but I just can't sell it because it still mega useful, not to mention the fact I don't want to spend ££££ replacing it for another car that has little use. I've had a battery drain issue for ages, bought one of those phone charger lo...
Was yours on a 2 year lease ? If you've done 19k so far, will you get hammered for going over the 6k per year?
Yes 2 year. I'm on 22.5k, if I returned car at the end of the deal I have to pay 10per mile excess charge over my 8k per year deal, if you take out anot...

Re: Moving On
So leaf deal coming to an end and the best I got for changing out is:-
Teckna 30kw, Metalic Paint
6k miles
£225 pm, no deposit (can put a deposit to reduce monthly if you wanted)
Anyone got anything better?

Whats everyones plans when their lease runs out soon?
Was hoping for another silly deal, but so far diddly squat. Actually thinking I might have to get another one regardless, done 19k on this and still 5 months to go. We need a group upgrade.

Re: Used X1 purchase
This is cancelled now, we kind of assumed X1 being an X would have that higher seating position but its barely higher then normal car, so he has written it off. New Qashqai considered, but he has a real issue with the fact that the engine and parts are now mostly French, don't ask me why please. Now...

Used X1 purchase
OK I admit I am being lazy and there probably a nice thread on this already, but i'll ask anyway... Dad wants to change his Nissan Qashqai, I'm thinking about pointing him towards a 2009-2011 X1 but have no experience or know of any particcular issues they may have. Looking for any general X1 advic...

Re: 20" alloys on a SE
Looks nicer but ride is definitely harsher. Just recently I was driving a mates X5 which is on the 19 and couldn't believe the difference. But I will be sticking to my 20's

Re: Feels like a new car
I need some of that, car done 110k and is feeling like it has. Pretty sure front control arms are gone as the steering has a lot of play and can hear a knocking noise if I just to a start/stop. What's the sign for getting any of the other bits changed or you did as a preventative? Only reluctance to...
