Update.... I had a look at the pano roof for him and have got it working so that he can use the main part but not the rear. I explained to him the permanent fix so the rear panel is disabled but he wasn't keen on me cutting out the part that was needed to do so.....he nearly had a heart attack when ...

agreed with above also  and for easy access seeing as you have a smoker remove the exhaust blanking panel to make the job easier
