Mine was playing up (just the once) a few months back. I rebooted the IDrive system and its been fine ever since. If you Google reboot/reset BMW IDrive you'll find how to do it fairly easily. Turns out the screen is fine. The CIC is potentially the problem. Does anyone know who can repair them?
