Hi guys - it feels like it’s one thing after another at the Moment. Just drove from work (30 miles) and stoped to fill up. Came back out and it wouldn’t start (4.4 v8).
Tried it 3 times and didn’t turn over but the dash was active. Left it 5 mins and boom it’s running .
Any ideas?

Re: Coolant drop
So the cap looks okay to me (not an expert), but there was a pressure release when I undid it so that I assume is a good thing. Regarding the level, the garage topped it up last week but I didn’t seen how high it was, but it’s now this high (see attached).. does this looks “high” / “normal”? Cheers ...

Re: Coolant drop
Really appreciate your answer. I’m not that technical, but I am sure even I can see if then rubbers perished! If not it will be back to garage to do a deeper investigation.

Re: Coolant drop
Great. Just to check, I assume that’s as simple as making sure the coolant cap is screwed on tight?

Coolant drop
So I had my Coolant flushed as I want sure what the previous owner was using. It’s been about 4 weeks and the low notification popped up. Have just topped it up, but if it keeps happening does anyone know what it could be? Cheers as always!

Thanks guys. Useful comments. Think I need to strip and clean them all and see how I get on... good news is all work with no fault codes... silver lining I guess

Re: Head unit recommendations
Hi Sleepyfolk, really appreciate your detailed email - I am not with my car at the moment, but when I’m back I will do some investigation to understand the best way forward. I noticed you mentioned a baris upgrade - something else to add to my research list! .

Re: Head unit recommendations
Hi guys - I am interested in this thread. I have mad my car a few months and it has an xtrons unit. Seems okay if you are tech savvy which for me is more work than it should be (basically working out the settings.... far too many!). As such I am considering buying an original head unit and going bac...

PDC - wont turn off
Hey guys. Being Xmas I actually have spare time so have been trying to sort some niggles and the one that is proving to be a problem is my PDC. All the sensors work (no fault codes, all click) but after I have reversed the beep keeps on and I have to manually press the PDC to deactivate when driving...

Legal wording - shared access
Hi guys - I am selling my house with shared access to my parking area and I want to ensure that I am accurately describing the situation on the advert. Basically a neighbour needs access to his garage over my land, and it’s my view that as long as he can drive in front / behind my cars with no infri...

Ah, okay. Did you have to get it plugged into a diagnostics machine?

Window goes down on its own.... ghrrrrr
So the past two morning I’ve got in the car to head to work and the rear passenger went down on it own, and when I put up a few mins later it happens again.... sometimes all the way down, sometime part way down.
Any ideas?

Re: What’s an car active antenna x 2
I don’t even have an AUX option but I think it’s because I have an xtrons stereo. Need to do some digging on this as the I-bus app is confusing me!
