I've just had a quote from a local indy to fit air springs at £1034! This includes 2x springs at £412 ea.... I've actually got Arnott springs coming which were £138 ea.

The quote includes ride height calibration. Is this essential as I'm thinking of doing them myself?

My X6 went in for MOT - nothing wrong, not even a caution. Goes in for a Health Check two weeks later and a front suspension joint might be a bit slack. Why not found in MOT? Hmmmm. And to add insult to injury they then tell me afterwards it ...

Interestingly, its just been into BMW for a couple of recalls and BMW always carry out a 'health check', in an attempt to relieve of your hard earned, and the suspension came back as all good.

My RH rear corner droops occasionally. Might do it once a week, might do it a couple of times a day, might not do it at all for a number of days.

I haven't checked the air bag, but I'd have thought it would droop consistently if an air bag was leaking.

Any thoughts?

I'm looking at a 2014 30d msport from twelve London Road- anybody know them? They appear to stock decent, quality cars.

I'm wrestling with the number of owners it has - 3 currently so I'd be the 4th.

It's has good BMW service history and looks a well looked after car.

I'm looking st about £20/21k and unless I go seriously high mileage, I'm not seeing a lot around. I'm looking closer to home ideally which is the sunny south coast.

Would you worry about the lack of BMW service history?
