Just checked some forums, an searched google, and it says when you take your key out of ign it get a code sent to it, so next time you put it in, it starts talking to ecu etc, it only needs to be out a didgit, and thats it, it says you need to get your ews and ecu allinged together and in sync, only ...

you could use £175, to put a side door in, or use your window opening, and make it larger, for door frame, that way you will have a lintel,, ready,, for future problems, on the unit, pluss it will get you in, and you may be able to sort it
