Out of the blue the steering is off centre sitting at say 5 to 12, very odd!

Anybody have any idea or suggestions please ?

Battery where is it?

Hi,

Car will not start or due to flat battery unable to fire it up via a power pack, so I guess it's a new battery but where is it and is it possible to replace it with a non BMW battery and is it a DIY fix?

Thanks for any advice

Re: Wet carpet?

i've tried tasting it no sickly sweet taste to it or any odour suggesting antifreeze is in it. Checked the seals around the bulkhead and found that the tray on the drivers side above the brake master cylinder was loose and sitting above the seal now all back in place! Thanks for the advice Lummox ...

Re: Wet carpet?

[quote="Raj"]
Most likely is door seal. Or heater matrix perhaps.

Well I guess it must be the heater matrix as the door seal looks fine and there been no rain here for weeks.
