Good news for you.
I always change the oil filter when I do the annual oil change.
Have covered 310 miles in last 12 months, so may break my own rule and leave oil and filter change till next year.

I've got an Eisenman road exhaust fitted on mine, was on ebay and my wife bought it as a surprise present £750 ( over 2K new)! Makes a lovely sound.

I am in the mods mood, With a lot of help from Greydog have ordered all the parts to fit an electric engine cooling fan. Now thinking if it possible to retrofit soft boot lid closing ? ( I have fitted springs around the boot lid struts to enable remote bootlid opening when pressing the bootlid lock/...

Fit an electric engine cooling fan
I have a 2002 4.4 E53 X5, fitted with lpg.
Has anyone fitted an electric fan to replace the viscous engine cooling fan ?
I am contemplating doing this mod as it may save a bit on fuel.

Dismantling Headlamps - to raise High Beam only.
Found it!!, have written several times re splitting headlights, the magic date is: pre June 2002 is the cut off date for splitable headlamps.
On your headlamp carcase there is a build date clock .that will show date build of headlamp, not necessary the same as when car was registered.

Re: A ‘scrap your hybrid car for a diesel’ scheme might just happen
No one has mentioned LPG, it seems to always to be forgotten in these discussions. I have owned lpg fuelled vehicles for over 30 years and have a smug look on my face when I pay for a fill up at 60 odd PPL (Pence per litre).
