DAB upgrade?
One of my "must haves" is DAB radio. I'm keen on a particular car that only has analogue. Can anyone recommend a good-quality aftermarket DAB upgrade? I'd rather it was as integrated as possible. I'm not interested in ones that either plug in to the cigar lighter socket or run through ...

Electronic Damper Control
In the course of my hunt for an F25, I have yet to see an LCI 30d that doesn't have EDC fitted.
Did LCI all 30d cars come with EDC as standard?
TIA
Stuart.

Plenty of real-world figures here
When you click on the model year, you then need to select "L6 diesel" and then apply the filter. Most of the users include the percentage of city driving in their figures.

USB audio interface?
I'm a 60-y-o technophobe, so please be gentle with me. Several of the F25 ads I've seen on the 'net have mentioned "USB audio interface". What sort of device would I need to use this? I know that the single-disc player will play MP3 files, but TBH I've been spoiled by my E46's 6-disc MP3...

8HP servicing
I still haven't found an F25 I want to buy, but one will come along soon. In the mean time, I understand that BMW do not publish a service schedule for the transmission. Is this correct? If it is correct, what are the feelings of members here? Should the transmission be flushed and the filter ass...

Re: Non-standard offset wheels
Having thought about it for a few days, common-sense has prevailed. Before my existing wheels (which may not even look right on an F25........) go on another car they will need a refurb. It's going to be cheaper to get a good secondhand set of correct wheels.

Re: Non-standard offset wheels
Thanks for ^^^ that. I've seen several cars I could be interested in, none of them newer than 14-plate, and only one at a dealer as an AUC. BMW warranty is unlikely to be an issue. Must admit I hadn't thought of potential loading issues, I'll look into that. My first thought is that 60...

Non-standard offset wheels
Sorry if this query is a bit "boy-racer", but here goes........... Has anyone run their F25 on non-standard offset wheels? The reason I ask is that I have a set of E46 wheels I could potentially use as winters, but the width (8") and offset (et47) are different to the Style 304s my F...

Re: HPI info
Thanks for the replies. I contacted the seller of the Cat.D car and he seemed honest enough. He said the car had been vandalised;- scratches all over and a badly dented wing. So, basically, it's been fully resprayed. Even though it's £4.5k below "book", one of my favoured colours, and ...

Re: Winter Tyre Info and Discussion Thread ( Keep related chat here please)
I haven't read the whole 21 pages so I apologise if this has already been discussed. Bearing in mind that we've only had full-on laying snow for more than a couple of days for 2 of the last 20 winters, and on ice (which we do get slightly more of) even winter tyres are useless unless they have studs...

6-disc changer
I have a factory MP3-capable 6-disc changer in my E46. Does anyone know if I will be able to transfer it into an F25?

HPI info
I have seen several adverts for F25s that I could potentially be interested in, one is listed in the Autotrader ad as being Cat D, another doesn't mention any catagorization in the ad, but on Cazana it has 2 locked "timeline events" 2 years apart. Cat D (or N as it is now) wouldn't unduly ...

Re: Winter/All Season Tyre Help Please
[quote="simonfr"] @RobX3 - 18", and that was on my F11! They were superb. Had my first real test of the Sotozeros this morning and I don't rate them. Pavement outside my drive is on a very slight (and I mean slight) incline. I turned up the incline passing over the pavement and I had ...

N57 timing chain
Good morning all. I have recently been looking around for an F25 30d, but have started to come across tales of timing chain woe. I have been aware of the N47 problems for a few years but hadn't realised that the N57 also had the timing chain on the rear of the engine as well. My original plan had ...
