Re: My new 22
Hmm, not 100% sure but then I haven't seen them in the flesh. I think the thing for me is that big rims and low profile tyres work really well when cars are lowered and sothe rims sit nicely into the arch. As you say though, this is what modding is all about. I mod my cars to my tastes...so good on ...

Re: Hi....
Cheers all for the warm welcome. Had a few issues with the air suspension over the last couple of weeks. It's been in and out if the dealer and finally it's all sorted. They ended up replacing air suspension control module, actuator, valve and the compressor itself.... :o Luckily I know the parts la...

Re: X5 angel eyes upgrade?????
I have done plenty of E46 facelift angel eye upgrades. These too have to be split be heating the bonding resin. If they are the same on the E53 then there should be no need to put them in the oven. You can use a heat gun or hairdryer and prise them apart. Where abouts are you (if in the UK)?

Re: first ever test drive in a 4.6iS, some answers please
1) When I pressed the button to fold the mirrors in, the drivers side one closed but then re-opened and the passenger one never moved. The engine was running at the time, does the car have to be off when you attempt this, or are they broke, and if so what is the fix ? The microswitch in the driver s...
Always hated the full black look, it is the titanium look I am looking for, well whatever is on the 4.8i models
Finnie...buddy, I got the grilles off my 4.8 sitting in the garage. The front and top ones as I've gone the black/colour coded route as normal...

Re: Hi....
Cheers for the welcome. Plans, hmmmm, plans... Well, brakes are first on the agenda. There is just no feel from the stock setup. And when you apply the brakes, it's like there is nothing there until suddenly they bite. Would love to get a new set of rims....... have seen some 21's but tyres are rare...

Re: Hi....
Cheers. I am liking the whole 4x4 thing. Never really appealed before. This is a great all rounder though, with power, space and kudos. Don't worry the ///M badges will most definitely be removed. For some reason the original owner spec'ed them... :o just haven't had time to remove them yet. Mods so...

Hi all, Like finnie (hi matey), I've just gone from an E60 M5 (oh I miss her) to an E53 4.8is You can tell I don't worry too much about my carbon footprint.....lol I'm a moderator on EvoTecknik.net and know Jason (BWChiptune) and a few others here quite well. I love modding cars and have owned a few...
