Look who’s still around ;) Should work I guess but the reviews aren't all that convincing. How about keeping the car on a trickle charger instead - isn't that the more elegant solution. U can have a CTEK plug in the front grill or some place easily accessible? I used to connect via the trailer socke...

Not the alternators I would have thought the electric motors would produce enough power... Just like the Priuses of the world.

Can't be that the cheapest Jap cars got this right and not the Germans[emoji848]

did you mean SL350? that's a different beast entirely.. it is extremely powerful alright. if you meant the SLK, well the obvious that I tried to ignore has come to bite - as much as its nice it is also a bit of a hairdressers car.. now looking for a SL350 or perhaps a 640i. problem with the older SL...

I would have thought theres nothing to be ‘allowed’ as such, the tech has to mature, prove itself safe, become practical and cost effective to refil and use.. ?

Perhaps because
a) the barometer is on renewables and gas is a natural resource;
b) it still produces Co2?

It's a better problem to have than millions of pollution generators spread throughout the country.

Thanks both, I'm looking for an E89, 2014 or 15 reg was my thinking.. but after your comments I'm thinking maybe 2.5L or more..hmmm... might have to go for older models to afford that
