Car is 18k, dealer will provide year warranty, but not cheap. Car is amazingly clean essentially 2 previous owners but at same address pretty much full service history. Its best I've seen otherwise but this and noise are making me think negative. Would panel damage be ok bonnet on adjacent wings ?

Just to check when you say yours is smooth - do you mean no vibration at idle on steering wheel?
