I've read that the problem could be due the the police cars idling for a long time or running at high speeds for a long time and possibly using the wrong spec oil.

I carry a can of tyreweld and also a tyre plugger kit, but never used them. I carry both of these as I hopefully would be able to do some sort of repair if I got a puncture when towing.

If I try to retract the electric towbar on my car after a long tow it sometimes just clicks and does not retract. If I wait an hour or so then try it it retracts as it should.
Not sure if yours will not retract at all or if it just needs a bit of a rest before it starts working

It has the start stop button. Thks is thst what you mean? Next to the start/stop button there will be another button which lets you turn off the start/stop function that I think you are referring to. If you don't want it to stop/start at lights etc then it needs to be turned off each time you start...

Another vote here for black crackle. Second choice would be black and last choice would be the same colour as your car

I torque the locking wheel studs slightly less than 140Nm, to avoid them getting stuck as they can be a pain to remove.
