Coding software

Should have added, I believe Carly can do all this too, but it’s 3rd party product (risk?) plus the app is on a subscription model (recurring cost)

Coding software

ISTA is for diagnosis, resetting services, flashing new modules, etc.

For F series ‘coding’ (I.e, changing how your car behaves) you need ESYS.

If you’re close to Buckinghamshire and you know what you need to change I could probably help (I have the kit but I’m familiar with only my model)

Professional valet/detail/etc

I still detail my cars once a year. It’s a full day routine per car. Routine is:
1. Wash with snow form
2. Clay bar to remove any tar etc
3. Polish any scratches out
4. Swirl treatment to clear all washing and wiping swirl marks
5. Wax to seal off

Soft top needs another day of treatment

BMW ETK no longer available

so I'm in need of replacing my high mounted tail light (water ingress).

RealOEM is no more. :headbang:
EPC is the new baseline apparently, but that's a dealer only tool.

any other options before calling the dealer?

BMW ESYS & ISTA+

Hi all, I've just got ESYS and ISTA+ freshly installed and happy to help anyone who might fancy some coding changes or diagnostics. Although, I may have the software but not the skills, so could be a monkey with a knife  I have of course played with my cars, so far without bricking them, but g...

BMW ETK no longer available

Our much loved resources that provide access to the BMW parts database across many websites (RealOEM, BMWFans, BMWETK etc) will no longer be updated. BMW have made it a Dealer only tool for which you need access names and passwords. It used to be issued on disk every three months but that has been ...

I don’t get it why they stick DSGs in every car, BMW is phasing out dual clutch I think. https://www.thedrive.com/news/38715/bmw-is-dropping-dual-clutch-transmissions-for-8-speed-automatics-even-in-m-cars I had a dual clutch in my A7, atleast it wasn’t a run of the mill being a 6-pot V6 petrol. I ha...
