Re: Adblue
Adblue is used to reach Euro6 diesel emissions, 2016 +. My 66 plate van has it, I t says 5000 miles range on the dash but starts to remind me when it gets to 1500 miles. 2010 is still Euro 5 emissions, so before Adblue was needed / used.
Thanks, I just seen X5Sp...

Re: Adblue
This is the first I have heard of adblue.
I know this is the F15 section, is this only on the newer models or would my 2010 E71 need this?
I havnt heard or read anything about this before.

Re: Performance in the snow.
A slightly different car (2010 X6) but I was out today and travelled around 60 miles through all sorts of snow, from 4 inches deep to hard packed on top of ice and the car only slid about when I wanted it to. Not once did it spin when driving normally and I was even travelling in the outside lanes o...

Re: Front brake disc retaining screw
My new discs that I fitted a few months ago came with new screws.
And the discs for our Z4 came with new screws too.
Maybe different brands of discs give you screws, mine were Brembo.

Re: X5 e70 40d Active Sound Exhaust Booster Experience
Sounds pretty good but excuse my ignorance, what exactly has been done to get the sound?
Is it a new exhaust or something that is controlled by an app?

Re: 2009 rear camera gone green
Have they opened it up to check that it has water damage?
If it was me I think I would take all the trim off and remove the camera and give the connections a clean and refit. It will only cost you a bit of your time and possibly even fix it.

Re: DAB Stations?
Im sure the USB is only for charging or for using a memory stick. You would need to use the 3.5mm jack plug which is the AUX on the stereo. Not sure about the DAB, its pretty poor most of the time anyway. Can you rescan for stations the same way you can rescan for tv channels and maybe it will pick ...

Re: Locking wheel nut keys
Had to order one of these today as when I was swapping the wheels the locking socket seemed to go at an angle when tightening the last one. There is a couple of cracks in the inside next to the squiggly shape?? so thought it best to get a new one now rather than when I am desperate. All they need is...

Re: Z4 or SLK
We have a 2010 2.5L Z4 and have had it for 4.5 years. Its great. I think it will all depend on what year/model/engine in each car you are looking at but I prefer the Z over the SLK. As said above the Z4 forum that has a link at the bottom of the forum here will give you more than enough info on the ...

Re: E83 3.0d Dash lit up like a Christmas tree .
Our old Mini had the thermostat housing changed that came with a new temp sensor.
After fitting and starting the car the fan would come on straight away.
Swapped for another sensor and it was fine.
Maybe somewhere to start looking.

Re: X5 40d Air Filter Housing Missing Part?? Bypass Valve
A lot of money for a small bit of plastic.
At least you know that you can buy the part.
Shame you don't know why yours doesn't have it when others do, with or without cold climate option.

Re: X5 40d Air Filter Housing Missing Part?? Bypass Valve
Just to add that my car is June 2010 so is also an early car.
From BMWs point of view your car is correct and ours are wrong as they dont have the cold climate option.
It could well be what X5Sport says and our cars were an oversight and had it fitted by accident as thats what they had available.
